Refund policy

Complaints:

Remember to take pictures of the damage and the packaging and send them to us along with a description. The complaint does not cover faults or damages caused by improper handling of the product/service by the buyer. You must file the complaint within a "reasonable time" after discovering the defect. Akamai will cover return shipping costs within a reasonable extent.

We do not accept shipments sent by cash on delivery. The item must be sent directly to the address; we do not pick up from parcel lockers. Additionally, it must be securely packed in its original packaging and without visible damage.


Refunds:


In case of a refund, you will receive the money in the account used for the purchase within 10 business days after we have received the product back.

 


Right of Withdrawal:


You have 14 days of full return rights on items purchased from our webshop.

The period is calculated from the day you:
- Receive the order.
- Receive the final item in physical possession when it's an order for multiple items delivered separately.
- Receive the last part or portion in physical possession when an order consists of several parts.
- Receive the first item in physical possession when it's a regular delivery over a set period.

You are responsible for return shipping costs.
You must notify us of the withdrawal within 14 days after the purchase, and you must return the item within 14 days after the withdrawal notification. The notice must be sent via email to kontakt.akamai@gmail.com. The notification should clearly state that you wish to use your right of withdrawal and include your order number. If you wish to return the item, it must be sent in its original packaging to:

You cannot exercise the right of withdrawal simply by refusing to receive the item.

Returns:

You must return your order without undue delay and no later than 14 days after exercising your right of withdrawal. You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the item. When returning, you are responsible for ensuring that the item is properly packaged in its original packaging. You must include a copy of the order confirmation.

You bear the risk for the item from the time of delivery until we receive it back. We do not accept parcels sent cash on delivery.


Reimbursement:


If you cancel your purchase, we will refund the full amount paid to us. In the event of a loss of value, which you are responsible for, this will be deducted from the purchase amount. Note that even a minor crease or bend can reduce the value of the item to zero.

When using the right of withdrawal, all payments received, including delivery costs (except for additional costs due to your choice of a different delivery method than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), will be refunded without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date we received notification of your decision to withdraw. The refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless you explicitly agree otherwise.


Pickup from Akamai is possible but must be arranged individually.
